Alistair Martin - an experienced and versatile bass player

Alistair Martin is an experienced and versatile bass player based on the south coast of England with over twenty years' experience playing at the highest level in corporate, tribute and function bands both nationally and internationally. He has played for venues and clients that include: The Isle of Wight Festival, Rewind Festival, Abbey Road Studios, Hard Rock Cafe, Virgin, Sega, Microsoft, Amazon and Sony.

The Live Karaoke Band

In 2008 he setup The Live Karaoke Band which has gone on to be the country's leading bandeoke and rockeoke experience. To that end he is a quick thinker and good listener, able to adapt and improvise on the spot and has notated over 500 songs covering the last 60 years of rock and pop music which he can play at a moment's notice.

Pink Floyd, Duran Duran and Muse

He also plays bass and backing vocals for a two Pink Floyd touring theatre tributes. The first is for Pink Floyd Legacy, an international band that stars Durga McBroom with sang with Pink Floyd for twenty years under Dave Gilmour's leadership. The other is The Wall of Floyd which regularly performs in theatres throughout the United Kingdom. Other current projects include returning to DURAN2, the Duran Duran tribute he setup in 2012, and dep performances for another act DURAN. He is currently in early stages of pre-production and rehearsals for Muse tribute MUSƎ.

Cosmograf and more...

In 2021 he was asked to play for Cosmograf, a stunning original prog rock band featuring Robin Armstrong, as they returned to the stage to critical acclaim after a seven year hiatus. Explore the journey to today from 70s disco tribute Saturday Night Beaver and 80s school disco themed Skool Daze, to 90s/00s indie rock with The Modern Fix.
